Bishnu Maya Tamang stayed in Lama camp for a year in the early 1980’s. There were about six houses then at Lama Camp. She raised her children who were very small – the youngest was Som Maya who was nine months old, lovingly called dallu. She would also prepare food for all staff at the logging camp.
