Budhi Maya Lamini is now highly asthmatic but she has traveled far and wide. Her husband who initially lived in Ramalingam escaped to Tezpur during the war of 1962. He then went to Nepal; he and Budhi got married there and came back to India. After he left the army they joined the logging work force and moved to different areas in and around Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary.
